Where We Are

Mission College is a public community college located in the City of Santa Clara, and in the heart of the Silicon Valley. See our map.

West Valley (our sister college) and Mission College have been serving our community for decades-- West Valley over a half-century and over 40 years at Mission College.

Together, our West Valley-Mission Community College District serves the communities of Campbell, Cupertino, Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, Santa Clara, Saratoga, Sunnyvale and San Jose.

How much does it cost?

As UC and CSU/Cal State costs continue to rise, local students and families rely on our local community colleges to maintain affordable education and career preparation. Annual tuition fees at Mission College are $1380, compared to CSU costs of $6759 and $13,300 to attend a UC. See our fee breakdown here.

Access to Job Training

West Valley and Mission Colleges provide local students and returning veterans with high quality, affordable education, preparation for university transfer, and specialized job training in fields such as nursing, engineering, and firefighting. To maintain this, many of our classrooms and facilities must be continually updated to address the fast-paced educational and job training needs of the 21st century.

Veteran Services at Mission College

West Valley and Mission Colleges serve a number of veterans each year. At our VALOR Center, we help veterans succeed. Our Colleges must continue to improve veterans’ services returning civilian life with financial aid, registration, and access to affordable education and career training.

What specific repairs we have made

In the last decade Mission College has built a new Student Engagement Center, Viso Sports Complex, and Gillmor Center. We have refurbished our Freeberg Hospitality Management Building and Child Development Centers. This includes repairing/replacing leaky roofs, heating, cooling, plumbing and electricity. Many of our buildings are LED certified as well.

We are updating educational facilities and technology to meed the needs of our students in the 21st century.
