Orientation Schedule: Orientation is held on Monday 6/2, 7pm-8pm in room E2-202. If you fully understand the information in the syllabus and can sucessfully log on to the Eduspace site, you don't need to attend the orientation.
On Campus Requirements: Three additional meetings for on campus exams and final exam, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Thursdays on 6/12, 6/26 and 7/10 in room MT-04.
Exam Requirements and Location: Online quizzes, 2 on-campus exams and 1 final exam from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Thursdays on 6/12, 6/26 and 7/10 in room MT-04.
Advisories: Strong self-motivation and good time management skills. You should spend a minimum of three hours everyday, seven days a week to succeed in this class.
Required Books & Materials: Textbook: Basic college mathematics, 8th edtion by Aufmann with Eduspace passkey ($129.55) If you already have a book, but do not have a Eduspace key, you must buy an Eduspace passkey ($25.55) separately also. Do not buy a used book. Computer: Students must have access to a PC or Mac and access to the internet. Minimum computer system requirement: Windows 2000 or XP or Macintosh OS 9.2, 10.1, 10.2, or 10.3 Microsoft Internet Explorer, Version 6.0, Netscape¢ç Navigator, Version 7.0, Firefox 1.0.7 or Safari 1.2 (with Macintosh operating systems only.)
