Orientation Schedule:

Wednesday, February 2, 7:00-9:05pm, room E1-603

On Campus Requirements:

We will meet on campus five (5) times during the semester, for orientation at the beginning of the semester, a review session prior to the first midterm, two midterm exams, and a final exam. If you cannot attend at 7:00pm, you may take the exams with Acctg 1A at either 11:30am or 4:45pm. Orientation: February 2, 7:00pm, room E1-603. Review for Midterm: March 2, 7:00pm. First Midterm: March 9, 7:00pm (or 11:30am or 4:45pm). Second Midterm: April 20, 7:00pm (or 11:30am or 4:45pm). Final Exam: May 25, 7:00pm (or 11:30am or 4:45pm).

Exam Requirements and Location:

Outline of Topics to be Covered:

This course covers accounting theory and procedure dealing with the operation of partnerships and corporations, stocks and bonds, the statement of cash flows, statement analysis, manufacturing and cost accounting, budgeting and cost analysis. After satisfactory completion of this course you will be able to do partnership and corporate accounting, prepare a statement of cash flows, analyze financial statements, and do basic cost analysis.
