Course Description:

Students will learn about ancient cultures through the study of artifacts, famous pre-history sites, as well as current sites in Meso America. They will also explore the techniques used in these studies, the theory base of Anthropological Archaeology. THREE class meetings on campus are Required, with option for field trip to Ohlone site nearby and/or any local archaeology ongoing in this area. Transfers to CSU, UC. Advisory: Engl 905; Reading 053.
