Incarcerated Women's Health Program, 2000
A prevention education program for incarcerated women with a history of injection drug use that utilizes harm reduction workshops and group exercises conducted at the Santa Clara County Elmwood Correctional Facility.
Women's Empowerment, 2000
Collaboration with Economic and Social Opportunities, Mexican American Community Services Agency and Planned Parenthood, that provide workshops for women that are affected by substance abuse. Topics include self-esteem, reproductive health issues, and personal development.
Risk Reduction Project, 1996
An HIV harm reduction one-on-one street outreach prevention education program designed for intravenous drug users. The principal goal of this program is to provide appropriate and accessible prevention education services that will help IDU’s increase their incidence of risk reduction behaviors.
